Morris High School - 1961 - 40th Reunion

My wife and I had a most enjoyable time at my 40th Morris High School reunion on July 7, 2001. She was enthralled with the friendliness of everyone and the beauty of the countryside. She was also introduced to some new experiences including imbibing and mosquitoes. One resulted in some rather expressive comments about little, nasty, biting "thing-ies." The "Gosh, we had fun" statements may be attributable to the other. She also learned about a small town atmosphere when the guy at the post office window said, "I know you - you're the one who ate the whole bucket." (Gotta read the Reunion Book to understand)

The reunion, itself, was phenomenal, although I was surprised to see that everyone else had grown older. The planning and preparations were excellent and the entire event was flawlessly executed.

The following pages contain pictures of the reunion. The questionable quality is due to my inability to properly use the camera (it belongs to my son who said something about any idiot being able to figure it out) and my lack of experience with html and web pages. This is definitely a work in progress.

The pictures from the #1 Bar and Grill were taken the night before the "Main Event" when some of us got together and had a chance to examine the excellent books created by Carol and Lois. I applaud their hard work and will forever cherish their finished product - even with the editorial comments attempting to belittle my earnest response to a request for personal historical information. <grin>

Some of the pictures show references to alcoholic beverages. I figure they're a testament to the stamina of our generation - perhaps a result of our "White Rock" training.
